thisislocal.tv’s Teenage Kicks montage: a tribute to John Peel
To celebrate the anniversary of John Peel’s final radio show on 13th October 2004, thisislocal.tv has teamed up with John’s wife Sheila, a number of local bands, and those who remember John, for a day of music and video tributes, including the release of never before-seen-footage of the radio legend.
Every hour from 9am we will be releasing video and audio interviews from the likes of Delia Smith and Amelia Reynolds, along with never-before-seen footage.
Local bands will be playing tributes to John outside the Forum between 12-2pm. Come along and join in!
